2 year well check

This morning we went to see Dr. Stoeber for Jordan's 2 year well visit. She was very entertaining...showing that she remembers what the light stick is that looks in ears and noses, talking about the circles the light makes when it shines on the wall and telling Doc that she is now 2! He was impressed, so, of course, that made me very happy! We all agree that she's right on track developmentally and he thinks maybe a touch ahead.

In terms of the stats, she is 36 1/4 inches tall and weighs 32 lbs. That puts her in the 95th and 90th percentiles, respectively! Dr. Stoeber said at her 18 month check that he would guess she'd be 5'10", but he's adjusted that to 5'11" or 6'! I guess it's not too big of a surprise, but it's hard to imagine my cute little 2 year old as tall as I am...

Our visit to the ped. made us late to school. I have been a little nervous about how this would play out. It turned out to be just great! I think since all the friends were there and they were in full swing, that it was easier for her to focus on something other than the fact that I was leaving. It was fine by me!
